﹛﹛Launching from Smith Park in Rexburg, this annual 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon offers quaint towns, farmland and wide expanses of open spaces. This full marathon commemorates the heroism and support in the wake of the tragedy in June of 1976.

﹛﹛Set at Snake River Landing, this half-marathon takes runners on an out-and-back tour of the Snake River along long stretches of the Idaho Falls River Walk and through several local parks.

﹛﹛Free Fishing Day

﹛﹛Idaho Department of Fish and Game personnel and volunteers set up several free events at local fishing waters throughout the state to help first-timers discover the joys of fishing.

﹛﹛There are a limited number of loaner-rods and reels, bringing your own equipment is encouraged. All other fishing rules and regulations including creel limits, opening dates and tackle restrictions remain in effect. Always check the seasons and rules for the water where you plan to go fishing. Idaho*s Free Fishing Day is a day to celebrate fishing in Idaho and no fishing license is required.
